Marigold Yellow Opal (320-50) 2mm
Contains sulfur and may react to copper bearing glasses. Slight reactive potential to lead bearing glass. Marigold Yellow is a striking glass. Striking glasses are those which, when in their cold state, do not display their target color. They must be fired and held at 1225 degrees for a period of time before reaching that target color. This style can opalize and/or become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. It may also opalize and/or become incompatible in instances where processes exceed the parameters of the test for compatibility. Testing recommended when heatwork exceeds these parameters.
