Introduction to Glass Fusing II
Come on! You've thought about doing this for a long time! It's time to sign up! You can do it, and once you do, you'll love glass fusing in our amazing studio!
This is a hands-on workshop designed to teach beginning/intermediate students about the fascinating world of glass fusing.
Create a platter using textured glass and glass powder. Design a plate using layered transparent glasses that you will 'kiln carve'. Experiment with flow, bubbles, frits and stringers.
We will cover the properties of glass, programming kilns, writing firing schedules, and basic cold working. You will complete 7 projects in this comprehensive 3-day workshop.
All glass and materials are included in this class.
